Appointment of Advisory Committee

When an order under Rule 9 of the Consolidation of Holdings Rules, 1998 has been made directing that consolidation should proceed in an estate or its subdivision the Consolidation Officer shall constitute an Advisory Committee consisting of not less than five and not more than nine persons as may be determined by him, to assist him in the preparation of a scheme for consolidation.

  • 75% of the Members shall be from the owners of 12 ? acres or less cultivable land
  • The Collector may vary the number of members or percentage for reasons to be recorded

A Revenue Officer may, either of his own motion or on an application in this behalf, eject any person making any encroachment upon any way or path shown in there cord of rights

  • Any person aggrieved by an order of the Consolidation Officer confirming the scheme may, within sixty days from the date of order, prefer an appeal to the Collector
  • (1) of the Consolidation of Holdings Ordinance, 1960 shall lie to the Commissioner within sixty days from the date of the order provided that when the order of the Consolidation Officer is confirmed on appeal by the Collector, no second appeal shall lie
